Quick guide

How peer-to-peer tool rental works

Sparetoolz is peer-to-peer tool rental: people list idle gear; others rent for a day or weekend. Here’s the full path.

Two ways to get a tool

Browse and search listings near a ZIP—or post a free tool need if nothing matches. Needs show city and state only until you’re signed in for full detail.

Request → accept → pay

Pick dates and send a free request. The owner accepts or declines. Only after accept does Stripe checkout run. Then you chat in-app about handoff.

Same account everywhere

Web and mobile apps share one login. Free to join; rentals and owner payouts use Stripe—not App Store or Play billing for rentals.

After the job

Return on time, finish condition photos, and leave an honest review when prompted. Clean returns keep the community healthy.
