First time? Keep it simple

You’re not buying a tool. You’re borrowing for a defined window. This checklist keeps it smooth.

Before you request

  • Confirm project dates (include weather buffer)
  • Measure access (will it fit in your car?)
  • Read the listing for fuel, PPE, and pickup notes
  • Check the day rate and deposit
  • Profile has a clear face photo if the app asks for one

Request → accept → pay

  • Send the request with real dates
  • Wait for owner accept
  • Pay in-app with Stripe
  • After pay, use in-app chat / address share for exact meetup (not on the public listing)

Handoff

  • Complete multi-angle condition check at pickup (owner approves)
  • Confirm accessories
  • Agree on return time

Return

  • Clean as described
  • Complete return condition photos (you approve the owner’s return record)
  • Message if anything changed
  • Leave an honest review when prompted
